(Boston, MA) – Quietly Fierce Media is excited to announce the signing of professional triathlete AJ Baucco. This past winter, AJ joined the infamous “Triathlon Squad”, a group of professional athletes living together and training under the guidance of world class coach, Paulo Sousa. AJ recently earned his professional status by finishing as the Top Overall Amateur at Ironman Florida 70.3 in May 2011. Shortly after this, AJ suffered a bike crash which put him out of racing for a few months with a broken arm. He has continued to train through the injury and is poised to make his pro debut on July 31st at the Giant Eagle Triathlon in Columbus, OH. AJ is a bright young talent in triathlon and we are thrilled to have him as part of the QFm athlete family. We see a lot of podiums in the future of this young pro and know he will take his training and performance to a whole new level!
Baucco had this to say about his new partnership with QFm, “When the majority of my daily energy is allocated towards performing at a top level, it is hard to worry about anything else. As a new professional, I recognize that it is incredibly important to begin marketing myself for the future. Quietly Fierce Media will make it possible for me to concentrate on my performances without sacrificing the need for media exposure. Needless to say, I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Sean at QFm!”
